New Poll Finds Strong Support for Expanding School Choice and Open Enrollment
A new poll by the TennesseeCAN Action Fund found Republican voters in Tennessee support increasing access to a variety of school choice options.
Key Points
As Tennessee lawmakers prepare to convene their 2026 session on Tuesday, they are being greeted by a new survey sponsored by the pro-school voucher TennesseeCAN Action Fund.
The survey finds what the group calls “overwhelming support” among likely Republican voters for expanding school choice options while strengthening accountability, transparency, and academic performance in public education.
The December 2025 survey was conducted for the group by Anchor Research. It builds on similar polling conducted last summer.
